Dis-Chem Sun City Swim
Warm weather, clear skies and almost 3000 people came out for this year’s Dis-Chem Sun City Swim on 20 October 2012.
Arguably the safest and best organized swim on the SA open water summer calendar, the 2012 event was no exception. With participants ranging in age from 2 – 77 years, the family atmosphere was palpable and the attention to detail evident from the moment swimmers arrived to collect their race packs and goodie bags to the final prize giving ceremony.
Spatone and Similasan support Earthwave Beach Festival
The first ever Similasan Tandem Surfing Championships in SA took place at the Earthwave Beach Festival in Muizenberg, Cape Town on the weekend.
Competitors wowed the public with spectacular maneuvers with father and daughter duo Paul and Pippa Jones taking first place in an event sponsored by Swiss quality Similasan’s ear, eye, nose and throat health products range available in SA (see www.otcpharma.co.za).
